This specialist field requires expert reports and testimony in legal proceedings or in anticipation of them. Reports are meticulously prepared in compliance with Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules 1998 and its Practice Direction, as well as Part 25 of the Family Procedure Rules 2010 for matrimonial and related cases. Additionally, all Expert Witness work adheres to the Surveyors Acting as Expert Witnesses (RICS Practice Statement and Guidance Note), 4th Edition.

For cases involving property valuation, opinions provided within these expert reports are prepared in strict accordance with the RICS Valuation - Global Standards (the Red Book) to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and compliance.

In addition to serving legal and professional clients, Cowie Consulting also advises private clients, who may be less familiar with expert witness protocols, on the Expert Witness role and the expert’s primary duty to the court or other tribunal.

Our in-house expert has authored numerous reports on residential property matters and has presented oral evidence in both County Court and High Court proceedings, providing clear and credible testimony.
